: I bought an apt.--gave notice three months in advance(as i was

: am moving out--if i do stay a few days into next month am i
: legally entitled to get my security deposit back, or can he keep it
: ----also,another scenario that i am trying for--i am trying to move
: out on the 26 or 27, and stay at a friends house, but the service
: elevator is already booked, therefore not allowing me to move out
: do i have any recourse with the landlord?

You didn't say but: the three months notice ends with 8/31/99???

You bought an apt: call that lawyer. If the elevator is booked: try 28, 29, 30, 31.... 25, 24, 23, etc. If all days between now & 8/31 are already booked: have your lawyer call: maybe some date will suddenly open up.

It's your responsibility to leave on time. Why did you agree to a post-closing occupancy?? Where are these innocent new tenants supposed to live??
