The lease specifies a 20 lb weight limit. It gets sticky--we signed under old management who did not specify a weight limit. We originally signed a "cat" pet lease. Now we have a dog that grew over the limit.

: This sounds like frivolous use of system to harrass you...Does the lease say no dogs explicitly?. If so the absolute WORST case is that you'll be asked to get rid of the dog and cure the situation. The landlords timing does sound suspect. Since he has known about the dog for 3 months and your wife is pregnant, if you take this court you should definately point these things out....
