Dust-BlowerBan

Posted by BillyQuealy on July 29, 1999 at 17:21:13:

Bird feces and lead are blown into your property when the blower goes by.
Blowers are already outlawed by the Clean Air Act as a point source of
lead, mercury, mtbe, rat poison, mothball dust, biological toxins and allergenics
indiscriminately deposited on/ in windows, ledges and handrails for instance.
Contact your Environmental Health Dept. City Attorney (other) and ask to have the Clean Air Act
enforced in your neighborhood. Contact the owner of the landscrape company that will not quit
using this neanderthal device, and let them know they will be named in a complaint to the
Air Resource Board. Let local ecology groups /children orgs know you believe this is an important concern.
Especially Ban the Blower at/around your childs school grounds or Senior center.
