Security was returned in full upon termination of lease...
and also the landlord had already signed new lease w/ new tenant.
Following this, she decided that there were damages to the apartment,
which I dispute anyway. But regardless of that, does she have any claim
at all against me since she entered into new contract lease, and returned
my security in full?. One last thing, her biggest dispute is carpeting,
which was 7 years old, and had been lived in by her and other tenants
and pets and she wants half the cost to replace it.
Does this sound correct? Thank you anyone for help.
I need responses asap, was just served and am suppose to report
to court 10am tomorrow. Thanks all.
