First of all don't let your landlord intimidate your...you can't have a warrent placed on you...
he can serve you with an eviction notice but guess what? you're already out. Next he'll have to take you to court to get the last months rent...so stop worrying. Try contacting him again and explain what happened. If that doesn't work you'll explain it to the judge about a month or two from now same difference.

So when do you get your security back? I would forget about paying the last months rent in lieu of the security.
