Texas is the state. We are trying to inforce the "seven month we can get out" clause even though the official get out date is listed as one year. We now have an addendum that says we can get out, but the landlords don't want to deal with me because I'm holding them to it, and they say I have no rights because my spouse is the only signature on the lease.
