Hi
Is there any definition of "1BR" in NYC? I heard the bedroom is
supposed to have a window by law. Is this true?
I also want to know if the bedroom must have a door or not.
I saw a small unit that has a living room area and a bedroom
area separately (divide by an arch near the ceiling), has no door between the two areas and no windows in the bedroom space.
To me this seems a studio not a 1BR, but I was told this is 1BR.
I just want to know if I'm wrong.
