no lease agreement now eviction

Posted by janice on May 22, 1999 at 16:02:58:

I need some help from someone to tell me my rights..as
a tenant...today i receive a certified letter from my landlord
stating she wants me out because i have a pet and i have
moved my bedridden father in ...which was back in february
1999...there was never no verbal or written agreement that i
could not have pets nor move additional people in my
rented flat. The reason i believe for this action because
the lady that rents over me we have been having problems
which she started just a month after i move in...complaining
about me noise downstairs where i live...come to find
out its from me walking over floor with my cane..
she also act likes she owns the place and is always doing
something with my garbage can...she use to call me to
complain but i hung up on her and i have told her in
no uncertain terms that she should mind her own business
and leave my garbage can along because i mess with nothing
of hers. The landlord said she did not want to get into
this...i got mad at her because she won't doanything
about the tenant upstairs...so this is the reason for her actions
what rights do i have i want to move but i do not have the
money to jump up and move right away...she wants me out
by june 30 1999. What can i do she stated specifically
in the certified letter that she wants me to move
because i violated a agreement..and the problem is there
was never a agreement about pets or moving additional people in.
Help what can i do??

will someone email me if they can help me and also i live in michigan what can i do?

i want to move myself i do not need the headache with the tenant upstairs...i haave my dad and daughter to care for but i don't have the money to move right away.
