I received a letter 2 weeks ago from my management company reqesting me to carpet my first floor apt. due to a neighbor complainting of disturbing noise. I was told when first moving in, over a year ago,that I didn't have to carpet b/c there is no one living below me. The letter stated that if I don't follow through with the request I will be given 6 days notice to move out. Instead of carpeting, I decided to break my lease & move out. I only gave about a weeks notice, am I entitled to get back my security?
