No, I do not expect to clean up after the other tenant's messes.
According to the management, they have someone come in twice
a week. However, they do not vacuum the common areas on a regular
basis as they should. Is it not the landlord's duty to maintain the
common areas within the building? Also, there are several illegal pets
(cats and a dog) that reside in this building. I did inform management
of this situation as I do not believe I the sole responsible party. As
far as the rider in our lease for our dog, all it states is that we are
allowed to have one dog. Nothing about the possibilities of the dog being
a nuisance nor cleaning up after our pet.
