Also try this new law search engine called versuslaw.com .its only 6.95 per month
for unlimited use. click on the link below for more info.Type in a keyword
and it comes up with may more then Cornell.
: "evacuate 111 Centre since there was a strange smell"
: Several people were taken to the hospital: it was in the papers....
: "A booklet was given to me about going to trial ... and how to prepare.
: Interesting that I can subpoena documents from DHCR and the landlord >"
: Booklet arrival was announced in this msg board in January.
: Subpoena power described long before that on Tenant.net: under Organize (the Lenox Hill booklet).
: They probably can sue for rents (use and occupancy) that become due AFTER the date of filing the bankruptcy. Use an internet search engine for "bankruptcy": those laws are posted on severasl websites, including Cornell. But search also for a booklet: must be several: laws themselves are hard to read, and will not point you to court decisions. Also try the library.
: Even tho you're under a lot of stress (you sound much better today) people expect you to help them to help you: like, do some basic research and politely respond to their suggestions and requests for clarification. Did you do any of the things in the post below? SRO Law Project? Poor Person Status? Guardian Ad Litem?
: To research law cases yourself: start with Tenant.net Housing Court pages.
