Hi
I have tried to sublet my apartment legally in Manhattan and been told
that I haven't established my intention to return after end of sublet
period (and thus my request has been rejected). in the meantime,
a friend of mine who has been staying at my apartment was told he can't
get a copy of a new front door key to the building because the sublet
is illegal. So he can't get into the building (i'm out of town on an
academic sabbatical). I need some immediate advice and the name and
number of a potential lawyer who might be able to help me deal with the
management company and their lawyers.
