You could report the mail situation to the Postal Service (GPO in The Bronx).
You can also take the situation to court... Warrant of Habitability.
Also, it sounds like a posting or two that have been archived on a landlord in Manhattan: Kinsey Corp/Chelsea Village Associates.
If you take this to court, just remember to be respectful of the judges. Let Friedman lose his temper (and it sounds like he will).
Meanwhile, in the case of court... take pix! LOTS of pix!
