I believe that Real Property Tax Law § 421-a(f) contains the rules for continuation of rent stabilization after the tax abatement expires. It looks like Jerry is correct for exemptions in effect before July 7, 1993 (with some exceptions). Rent stabilization for later tenants expires upon expiration of the abatement provided the lease and all renewals contain notice to that effect.
