Also check with the local community board. We don't have the Zoning Resolution itself on the website, but the Zoning Handbook (still valuable). THe Community Board might be able to direct you in the right direction. They often have a Land Use or Quality of Life committee. BTW, what area of town as we have contacts in some community boards.
