Most states have a specific time limit, say 14 to 30 days. New York's law says just "reasonable time". So, it would be up to you (or a judge) to decide just what constitutes a reasonable time. Since other states are pretty specific, you could use the theirs as a guide..and I think the longest is 30 days. try this web site, there's a whole section dedicated to that: www.tiac.net
