There is a thing known as " ordinary wear and tear " which is assumed to happen when people live in an apartment. The items, you describe, fall under that meaning. To charge you $100 to clean 1 spot from a carpet is outrageous. Let them paint over the wall with crayon on it, after cleaning it with a cleaning agent. They are trying to hustle you as they try to do with most young people or anybody they feel that they can " get over on ".
Forget it and get on with your new life.
