I just moved into a non-stabilized studio in a brownstone. The problem is that the apartment above me has extremely creaky floors. All I hear all day and all night is creak, creak, creak. The noise is so loud that my radio does not even drown it out. Is ther anyway I can force my l;andlord to fix the floors in someone else's apartment, based on an intereference with my quiet enjoyment of the property, or will I be stuck listening to the creaks for the next year?
