Please help. I have been taking care of my mom on and off for the past two years due to chronic illness. I have been going back and forth to Florida for two years. During this time I have never evan been late with a rent payment and have always had a roommate. My mother just passed away and I will be returning permanently to NY. My landlord (management company) just sent me a letter stating that I am not living in NY. I am so angry and frustrated. They have been harrassing me for two years and I would like to look into what I can do to address this harrassment legally as it has caused me undue stress.

Can anyone refer me to someone to look into this for me. I would be very greatful.
