My landlord owns the apartment next door to mine. When he rented me my apartment he told me someday he would be combining the two apartments. Well that day has come. My lease was up in July, but I have continued to pay rent without a lease. I've been searching for an apartment since May and have not been successful, not to mention I have a dog. I have to be out my November 1st. This is a privately owned apartment in a condo building. Do I have any rights here? Can I stay longer even though he wants to begin construction 11/1? If anyone can answer these questions or direct me to someone who can, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
