WELCOME TO AMERICA !!!

YOU DO NOT SAY WHERE YOU ARE...NY OR OTHER STATE ????

EACH STATE MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE DIFFERENT RULES IN TERMINATING A LEASE...HOWEVER, GENERALLY YOU CANNOT
JUST TERMINTAE A LEASE AND MOVE AND THINK THAT YOU WILL NOT OWE MONIES FOR THE RENT DUE UNTIL THE END OF THE LEASE....EXCEPT FOR A FEW INSTANCES..WHICH SHOULD BE CHECKED WITH LOCAL LAW...A JOB TRANSFER...A MEDICAL EMERGENCY...A DEATH IN A FAMILY...A CRISIS SITUATION OF SORTS...OR ANOTHER TENANT THAT WILL FINISH THE LEASE FOR YOU KNOWN AS A SUBLET..OR TO ASSIGN THE LEASE TERM LEFT TO ANOTHER TENANT AND VACATE THE LEASE AS PRIMARY TENANT.......... .ALSO SUBJECT TO LANDLORD APPROVAL AND LOCAL LAWS ETC..

GOOD LUCK
