I have been renting an apartment for the last 5 months and the lease is
down to the last month. I would like to renew but the rent will increase
from $890 to $910. Does the landlord have the right to do this after just
a six month lease?

Also, I was told verbally that $25 dollars will be taken out of our deposit
for administrative fees (paper work and such). Can they do this even though
it is not stipulated in the lease?
