: Your landlord can't throw you out based on the assumption that you may not be able to come up with the funds needed to pay your future rent. And if your name is on the lease then you are a permenant tenant there, period, and you have the rights of a permenant tenant. You should definitely call your State's Department of Housing and ask them this question. Be prepared to be put on hold a lot. AUG 13, 1998.
