My landlord requires our rent checks to be in by the 6th of each month,
yet he only gives us our rent bill/invoice on the 29th/30th of each month.
Last month I mailed my rent check on the 30th of June - they say they
didn't receive it until the 7th of July and now they want to charge me
$97.50 in late fees! Help! What can I do?
