Once one has entered into a verbal settlement agreement, is it still possible to change one's mind and go the distance for a trial if need be? Nothing has been signed yet. I'm having serious second thoughts and would very much appreciate knowledgeable responses to this question. If it's even legally feasible, what would be the drawbacks of doing this? Would it seriously weaken my position? Thanks.
