I'd call the Depts of Health and Environmental Protection also.

: : I live in a 4th floor walkup above a popular Thai restaurant (surprisingly, no bugs) - problem is, their ventilation is increasingly inadequate, and on busy nights, the entire stairwell is thick with swirling grey grill smoke - which seeps its way into the apartments as well.

: : I've complained to both the restaurant management and the landlord several times, to no avail. I fear it is endangering my health, as well as that of my neighbors. Is this a Board of Health issue? Am I justified in withholding rent?
