Subject: re: abusive neighbor/break lease

I decided after one year of periodic episodes of the most violent abuse of a wife and child in the apt beneath me that I would no longer be a victim of this maniac and withhold rent. THe place is co-op building and I was told by the managing agent months ago that not only was the neighbor "evicted" but they were kicking out the landlord of that unit. Well, it's been too long and I had to call 911 again last week. What do I do - now that I am being evicted for not paying rent? HELP!!
