Hi, My husband and I moved into a duplex in Florida, After we moved in we found out that the WASHER and Dryer provided for 3 other families besides ours was hooked up
to our circuit breaker. Is this legal without noting it on the lease agreement
We let the landlord know and she credited us for 25.00 a month. Then she
added two more units and turned down the thermastat of the dryer so she could
make more money, It used to take 1.00 to dry a load now it is 2.00 to 3.00 to
dry one load and OUr electric bil is another 70.00 more a month. When we
called her she threatened to kill my husband and harrased him and threatened to
evict us. We are model tenants, we are never late and never complain.
What do we do???
