additional...I found the clause. Look on the first page, section 8
RULES AND POLICIES. Section 8 continues on the second page. States Article
4477-9a.."can remove vehicles with expired licenses or inspection stickers"
MOST landlords won't exercise this option unless the car is unsightly or
damaged or looks poorly on the property. You've got one picky landlord.

additional: I've just recently moved to this property (that is located in Garland, TX) and I'm
: not quite sure why this happened without any notice. Tuedsay night, early evening I happen to be
: leaving my apartment to get into my car when I see this tow truck hooked up to my car. I asked
: the guy why are you towing my car, he said that he was told my the landlord to tow it because of
: an expired sticker. I was not given any information that this was going to happen, and I thought that
: they would tow a vehicle only if a car has been sitting for several days, or even serveral months.
: My question is can they do this, give you no warning, how is it their business if the car is driven
: everyday if your stickers are expired!!! What legal leg do I have to stand on?? Please help as soon
: as possible.
