: My building has eight units. Someone visits the building several
nights a week to take out the garbage, and once a week to mop the floors.
No one, however, is available on a regular basis to tend to maintenance
issues that occasionally arise. Is posting a sign with the name of an
emergency contact the extent of my landlord's legal obligation for
providing superintendent services?
What really matters if that person or if the landlord responds in a
timely and meaningful way to problems.
