Rodents

Posted by Sheri on January 02, 1998 at 16:00:54:

Today I found out that my landlord sent an exterminator to the apt above
mine. When asking the exterminator what he was called to exterminate he
told me that if I wanted to know I would have to call the office. When I
called them they told me that they were not at liberty to tell me, but tried
to convice me that even if it was for cockroaches that it was unit specific
and not to worry. So I am wondering if 1) can they legally withold such
information and 2) can I get out of my lease if I get invaded with roaches?
I have had problems with cockroaches before(in another apt) and I know for
a fact that if one unit has them it is very probable that others do as well.
They exterminted our whole building on 3 separate occasions before we did
not have roaches any more....
