I'm still unclear about a couple things:
1. I'm responsible to the prime tenant for the rent but doesn't he now owe me more than I owe him?

2. Do you think the landlord will be willing to sign the lease over to me with an increase if he perceives me as more responsible than the former tenant? What's the maximum increase he may charge, excluding capital improvements. 16%?

3. Whats your gut feeling about this situation?
