WET CARPET

Posted by toni on September 12, 1997 at 10:22:31:

I am presently in court with my landlord for backrent, which I am
holding because of his failure to do repairs. My bathtub hot water pipe
burst and had to be turned off almost three weeks ago and the super said
that was not an emergency. He had an empty apartment he needed to get
together for rental?!!!! Now something happened to the boiler and heat
was bursting forth in my apartment which made the radiators in both my
living room and my daughter's room leak severely. My carpet in both rooms
are soaking wet and mildewing. My daughter's room carpet is so wet across
half her room that she can't go to her dresser. I called the landlord and he
is aware of this yet he won't do anything. PLEASE HELP!!!
