Not necessarily. There are varying interpretations about this; some
say that all RC tenants have statutory leases. We've been asking some
in the legal community this question and if we get anything definitive,
we'll post it (lawyers invited to comment please). Even so, if there
is no lease they still must go through the court process and that can
and will take some time (you would probably be considered a month-to-
month tenant with a minimum 30 days coverage). It's still illegal
to evict without a court order even without rent regs.
