: Iam a tenant in a non- eviction plan coop building.
: The coop board prohibits dogs. As a tenant.I had to
: sign leases prohibiting dogs. However under
: "waiver". I had one dog "openly and notoriously" from
: 1969 to 1985 and another dog from 1985 to August,
: 1996,when he died.
: Is there any I could legally have another dog without
: creating problems with the landlord? I miss having a
: dog very much.

In the Housing Court Decision database, look for a case
(do a search) for the defendant "Eimicke" where it talks
about replacement pets. I forget which way the court
ruled.
