I have not seen anything mentioned in the newspapers, or heard on the radio, anything about the fact that if there are no rent regulations, the building owner can decide not to renew your lease. He/she could decide to not renew for any reason or no reason at all. They may not like that you complained about repairs not getting done.
Or they may not like that your even brought up that repairs were needed.
