I share in your grief. Landlords, and their goulie super just don't care anymore. Everything is about money. Naturally of course
being that they want to keep it in their pocket. It just sounds like a typical cat and mouse game. You keep calling, they keep
stalling. If it was a situation that I was in, I simply would make this their problem. Don't bother to prevent any more serious
damage from happening. As a matter of fact, the hell with them. Go out for a few hours and just leave the shower running. I am
quite sure after the dreadful damage that can do, they will get their act and resources together and correct it asap. And they
can not say that you did not mention this to them. Which brings me to, you should always request and bring up issues to your
landlord by means of certified mail as a way to cover your tracks. Good Luck!
