My landlord has been showing the building in which I live to prospective buyers. The only notice I generally get is a phone call a couple of hours before. Today, a Sunday, I came home and took a nap. I was awakened when my front door was unlocked, opened part way, and loudly stopped by the chain. If I hadn't put the chain on, they would have walked right in on me. What are my rights in these situations? Can the landlord "show off" the apartment without my consent?
