Guess I'll be out the door...

Posted by Carla on June 14, 1997 at 17:37:43:

Basically, I believe I know the answer to this, but my lease expires Oct 31st of this year.
To confirm my future predicament, if the laws expire as of June 15th, then this means that
my landlord can charge any rent its pleases. To understand correctly, this means that I in
no way am protected from absurd lease renewals, and if I do not agree with such than I will
be forced to move. As is I am currently paying $700 for a one bedroom, and this justified
amount (in my eyes) is not sufficient to the dumb boys up in Albany. They will let my future
and disruptions lie within landlords that are money hungry as vampires are for blood. Well
thanks guys for involuntarily exposing my viens. Well, in retaliation, all I can say is come
voting time, I will expose one and all to unemployment lines at the poll booth.
