United we stand, divided we fall.
Rent regulated tenants have been fighting for these lifesaving laws for many years. We've won in the past only because of our united front against tyrant landlords and brokers. If all 2.5 million regulated tenants stand together, like we have in the past, we can still beat them.
They would love nothing more, than for us to biker amongst ourselves, instead of focusing on the real issue. Their carefully orchestrated plan is to do us in and ship us out.
Bruno, Pataki and Damato and their rich financial backers mean business.
They plans to destoy the system that protects us. By voicing their opinion via Bruno, who has nothing to lose, they will certainly take any desire to compromise and use it against all tenants as a bargaining tool.
Stand Tall. Back up your overwhelming City Council Vote (47-3), to renew the rent laws with no more weakening ammendments !!!
