Bank forecloses - what about my lease?

Posted by John on June 02, 1997 at 10:49:34:

The owner of the house i am renting is filing bankruptcy and the bank that
holds the mortgage is foreclosing on the property. The bank tells me that
they do not want to rent and will put the house up for sale. I would have
to move. I have eight months remaining on my lease. Can they force me to
move?
