: Hey anybody out there know where a brownstone falls within the definition of 'multipul dwellings'? There are two apartments in my building and the landlord lives in the third. I have been living there for almost 5 years now with no lease. (with the Full Knowledge of the Landlord) There have been huge heating problems in the building for years and the neighbors and I are now involved in a rent strike. There has been a problem with the pilot light on the stove as well and it has been leaking on and off for almost a year now. I have documented the heat issues to a limited extent. Anyone out there got any helpful hints?

If there is a gas leak, call Con-Ed. Having them buzzing around your
building may get some results.
