That's what I've been afraid of. Other work that has been done in my apartment by the landlord has been bad - non-smooth plastering, paint drops everywhere.

I've contracted a workman, who will do the entire room for a reasonable price. Now the landlord is griping about the materials and such. Not that he's not willing to provide them - he just disagrees with how the work is going to be done. He states that his method is better.

Next I need to have work done on the bathroom, which, behind the panneling, is in worse shape.
