Isn't there supposed to be a renewal rider for rent stabalized renewals or
has that changed somewhere along the line. I ask cause my landlord has failed
for years to get me the renewal in the prescribed 120 days. and I have used the 120 from
date of renewal as a result.
but this year, he was late but no rider on the lease renewal form and henece I don't know
if that requirement has changed? On the dhcr web site it would seem from what they
say that this might have changed in as far as the way they calulate when I must sign very
confusing at best and very bad as far as the question of the rider giveing
rights under renewal etc ... anyone care to shed some light on this one or is it
low on the pecking order. there is much I would like to say with regard to my tennancy and
expericences but don't wish ot fall outside of the moderated guildlines.
I will not the following, after haveing read a few of the posts, it would seem that bringing baseless
proceedings is not limited to just me. This should be addressed, and in a
fromal manner with regard to applicable law and a clear and concise presentation to the civel court here in
new york as I suspect it might result in a more critical look at the landlords actions and potential
conseqences for groudless actions brough before the houseing courts here in new york. hmmm might be wishfull
thinking but suspect it is worth the effort??? comments welcome
