: My message got cut off. I thought I was given more lines to type on but I wasn't. I was going to say that I watched as a building owner told one lie after another (and was caught with proof). The only thing that happened was that he lost the case which shouldn't have been brought to court in the first place (he was trying to collect an overcharge that he knew DHCR had ruled as such). The tenant had to go throught alot of hassle. Fortunately it was obvious that the owner was lying.
My case is now in court if I win I am going to sue my Landlord
because this is the 3rd time he has taken out a Holdover on me.
All three times he has started Fraudulent proceeding claiming
he needs my apartment for his Daughter.
