I moved from my place on December 31, 1996, I just received my deposit from my landloard on
Feb. 8, 1997, not only was it given to me late, He charged me for things
like rekeying the lock $40.95, I replaced the lock and gave him all the keys be-
cause the homeowners association lost the keys to the lock that was there.
He charged me $240.00 for General cleaning,(I called several cleaning
services and was quoted $65.00 max, there was one dirty spot on the
wall where the TV was and I have witness's, I had someone help me clean
the townhouse,Windows included. Then he charged $45.15 for supplies.
None of which he provided reciepts for these services or for what supplies
he purchased. Why should I have to pay for supplies, or rekeying of the
lock that I purchased (didn't charge him for) and gave him ALL the keys
Doesn't he have to provide receipts for repairs, he said he had someone
come in and clean. Doesn't he have to itemize what he spent or can he just
write it on a piece of paper 7 weeks later???
