my wife and i just moved from a 1 bedroominto a 2 bedroom in the same
complex. we had painted the bedroom orange (at 1 bdrm)and expected the
building to charge for it, as stated in lease. we asked how much money the
building would charge, but receive no answer. to our surprise the
building is charging us $350.00 for repainting that room. the money will
be deducted from the security. is that amount fair? how can we take
take them to court? should it be housing court, or small claims court?
how soon?
