need to find los angeles landlord tenant atty

Posted by Geraldine Kudaka on January 07, 1997 at 00:58:22:

After I complained about the heater making me sick, the landlord had their plumber reweld the 50 y.o.heater. This was despite the Gas Company saying that as the baffles were shot, it should be replaced, not welded. I have called the Health Department, but now my landlord is harassing me with claims that I have caused damage to her place by "dropping equipment, furniture, or jumping on the floor." does anyone know of a good Los Angeles attorney who specializes in Landlord-tenant laws? I am leary of just going through the phone book, or the Bar Association. I prefer hearing from a happy tenant that their lawyer helped them. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Gerealdine
