Does anyone have advice on the following experience?
I recently signed a one-year lease in a rent stabalized building through a
real estate agent. (paid 12% of one years rent). The following has happened
in the month I have lived there:
The apt was rented to me dirty
All fixtures (light, toilet seat) was not provided upon commencement of lease.
Apt was broken into.
Had an extreme leak which the landlord did not respond to.
All documentation (stabalization rider) has not been returned by landlord.
Is there any recourse against either the landlord or broker for this? Please hellp.
