Here is a problem!

I rent a unit on 74th street.
before renewal of the lease I made an agreemant
with Maurice Herman to rent an apartment downstairs
for use as office space as an extention of my apartment.

he said OK that will be X amount of money per month xtra
but he refused to give me a seprate lease or put
it in writing, but he increased my rent by
the given amount and wrote me a new lease
at renewal time for the new amount.

I said OK.

this month I filed a rent overcharge complaint with
the DHCR. he got mad and put a padlock on my office.
(the police almost arrested the super until he finally took the lock off)
He now claims t hat he has no idea about an agreemant
reguarding the office that I rent.

and he is telling me that he will not renew my lease
and he will kick my ass out on the street.
because I filed the complaint with DHCR.

now he has contacted the electri c company and forced
them to shut off the electricity because he owns
the building.

He is Harrassing me!!!

what to do!!!!
